When it comes to marketing funnels, many have made the mistake that I made. I thought I had a funnel when all I had was a hoop. Note that a hoop is similar in shape to the rim of a funnel.
If you get someone to jump into a funnel, they’re kind of stuck there for a while, right?
What happens when someone jumps through a hoop? They just… keep on going. See a problem there?
So I have made another video about my biggest marketing mistakes; of course, this is “my big funnel mistake.”
Please watch carefully. Then share your comments!

Hey Richard
Excellent video.
It is a very good idea to have your funnel (system) in place first.
Having it setup then leads to how you target your other activities.
Thanks Richard for providing some great info.

Yeah, going sequentially may seem like a drag, but ultimately it saves time. Thanks for visiting again Peter, I appreciate your inputs.
Hello Richard. Once again you have made a succinct and easy to understand video. I encourage people who are serious about building an online business to take heed of Richard’s valuable advice. Thank you.

Richard,
Thanks so much for sharing you experiences in order to help us. I’d agree, we all need to build up an infrastructure (like the funnel) in order to sustain our success. Love the slides you use in your videos.

You are welcome. Sharing triumphs is more fun, but maybe this can be helpful.
Awesome video.Funnels need to be done correctly. You are so right about the business PLAN too.Very good video.Great audio and so clear. Thanks!
You’re welcome. A business funnel plan is often misunderstood, I think, which is why I decided to share the video.
Nice to have you stop by Ed. I love that quote too!
Richard, what a fabulous video, you incorporate humor as well as lots of graphical details to illustrate your message. Your voice is very easy and pleasant to listen to also, and I resonated with all your “bad plan” examples. So many of us leave out the “conversions” (me especially) and kind of leave them to chance. And, thanks for the reminder for having a “proper” plan.
Yep. As they say in investigations – follow the money! In our case, follow the funnel. No money, “bad plan.” Thanks for participating here!
As I listened to your video, I was nodding in full agreement. Thanks for sharing the mistake portion of your original funnel. Until someone goes thru this exercise it may be difficult for them to fully understand just how crucial this is to one’s business. I strongly feel a person will not be successful – unless they have put their plan together. As I work my way thru Mike’s MFM it is all slowly becoming very clear to me. I started with a clean sheet (actually 18×24 tablet)and started creating my future business. And, man, I came up with 100′s of questions and approaches and it’s an obsession and as I leave it and come back to it each day it starts to unfold and become a bit more clear. My vision, and target and product, and affiliates and all the upsells and downsells and pricing and timing. Well, I should take a picture of all this. Right now it’s a creation in progress with nothing but lines and arrows and scribling all over the place. But – bottom line my business is starting to take shape. And, as Mike has said – trust the process. And, as I look around, the whole world is one big funnel. You start to see funnels all around you in every day experiences. If you want to be successful – you need to know where you’re going. OK – great job. Thanks for sharing.
Ha! Sounds like you have a “war games” map evolving! Seriously, I think it’s fantastic that you are taking such care in developing your funnel. I’ll be very interested in how it all turns out! Perhaps we’ll meet up again at a live event and compare notes! Thanks for sharing what you’re doing.
Yes, I will see you in LA this November for the next MFM. Thanks again for sharing.
Hello Richard. I thought I would be bored with yet another video on the funnel system…turns out I don’t know crap!!! Thank you for making everything so clear. (Great teaching abilities you have my dear.)I will be looking into more of your teachings on clarifying my niche. Always so much to learn, isn’t there! Mistakes are cool as well…you have learned alot from them and then helping others to avoid the same pitfalls…very good!
Thank you Richard.
