We’re actively planning to step up our consistent input time on a weekly basis. 3 areas will be addressed each and every week: 1)Writing Content 2)Education 3)Website Development time-testing/funnel planning; not necessarily in that order

  • I love it – great video Richard. Thank you for being such a great teacher and leader. Okay, here is where my business will be in 365 days:

    - Double my income (I doubled it last year and will do it again!)
    - At least double my list, primarily through the wonderful JV partnerships I’m building
    - Create 3 new programs that help people with what they really need and are evergreen programs I can fully leverage

    Who is next?

    warm wishes,
    Cindy

    Richard,
Thanks for listing the inspiring and miraculous things that can happen in less than a year.

    In the next year…
1)My lead capture page with free offer and Ebook offer will be up and running and tested to improve the process. A second and third similar funnel will be added.
2)I will work on my copy writing skills to communicate clearly as I add to my existing blog and start a new one.
3)I will help promote others online, especially my clients – when they have more business, I have more business!

    For less specific things –
    1)Improve my confidence.
    2)Grow stronger mentally and emotionally.
All of these will carry over into every area of my life.

    Happy Holidays!
    Kathy Mills

  • Hey Richard,
That was an awesome video and thoughts for the 2012. That’s right…a simple decision can really change the course of your existence.
For the next year these things are true for my home based business and life:

    1. I look forward to allow my passions for people, personal transformation and online marketing to flow into my business/other people businesses.
    2. I will focus specifically on developing my own brand and sales funnel with a free gift for my potential clients plus joining a new network marketing company.
    3. Regarding the skills I would like to develop: blogging, social media and phone prospecting.

As a final point other goals that will help my business prosper are: committing to personal development every day and taking action on everything I learn, no matter if it’s uncomfortable.

    Great post my friend:)
Wish you a Happy New Year!

  • Richard, excellent video. I currently earn money through consulting, but would like to add product revenue to the mix, based on the list I’ve built up blogging. Here are three goals:

    1) grow my list (aweber, RSS and twitter) 20% monthly
    2) Triple my income from consulting, compared to last year (I set up my consulting biz in June 2011)
    3) Earn at least $30K in product revenue by year end

I’ve broken down those goals month to month, and also added some other Pirate metrics (AARRR!) for Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Referral and Revenue.

What about you? What are your business goals for 2012?

Great list Jim. Coincidentally, with respect to your first point, I just wrote a post about list open rates which may be of interest. I also enjoyed looking at your blog and getting acquainted with the idea of agile marketing. Good stuff there! As for my specific goals? Coming in a blog post soon.

Richard, I am slowly shifting gears again from a 100% Holiday Grand-kids and Family celebration in cold “winter wonderland” Michigan and will head back home tomorrow to VA again.

This video, which is very beautiful and powerful, and your added thoughts are the perfect tools and support to begin this year with the right mindset and gearing it into the right direction. My key focus will be in four areas which may work simultaneously:
    1. Complete and launch my first website with an opt-in offer to build the first community of 250 members (not a membership site).
    2. Publish (self) my first book (draft in progress).
    3. Complete a 10K run/jog without injury (last year I had to stop midway training because of a hairline fracture)to boost and reassure my overall health and well-being.

Richard, 2011 brought you into my life to direct me toward a more focused journey of internet business building. I am so grateful. Your mind, your expertise and collaborate spirit has made a difference in my thinking and pursuit.

    Ute
